Surprise!

Surprise by my best friend!

Casey was a junior with me last year..but when the incredibly opportunity came along for her to transfer to Liberty Christian Academy up in Lynchburg to dual enroll in a few classes she decided to take it. The end of junior year was sad because it was our last year going to school together, and that was a big deal because we had been best friends for 6 years. I was really going to miss Casey when she left but I knew that God had a plan and that going was the best thing for her. I supported her fully and completely the entire time...up until the time the was packing up to move. I honestly thought that day was going to be the hardest day of my life, but it actually turned out to be a lot easier than i thought it was going to be. Casey loves her new school and her classes and she is meeting a ton of new people, but life her at school is just not the same without her. The original plan before she moved was that she was going to come home every other weekend and the weekends she wasn't coming back home I was going to go up there with her. But much to my surprise that never happened... Casey got busy with school and church and volunteer work and I got busy with school family and sports. It's hard to find a time when we are both not busy to hang out with each other but we always make it work. Casey came home this weekend and so far it has been nothing but smiles and constant laughter. There is never a dull moment when Casey and I are hanging out. Between the inside jokes, the random laughing at things we say that don't make any sense at all and the stories we tell each other about what is happening at school and in our lives there is never a moment when we aren't talking or laughing. Casey is my best friend and I miss her when she is not in Richmond but i know she will always be there if and when I need her. Casey calls me every day to tell me what has happened at school and of course I keep her updated on what is happening here in Richmond. Surprise visits from Casey and her family are always my favorite

Seniors Sell Sweatshirts

Seniors Sell Sweatshirts

As seniors one of our fundraisers is to sell sweatshirts. We sell school sweatshirts to the entire school.  Yesterday during 5th period study hall Tara Kara and I started to organize all of the sweatshirts. We put them all in piles according to style and color. Then we wrote the names of everyone who ordered one and what grade they were in on a sticker and then placed it on the sweatshirt and placed the sweatshirts in plies by grade. After finishing this right before the bell rang we decided to stay and pass out sweatshirts during 6th period just to get out of class, I mean it's Yearbook, it's not a big deal. Lauren, Erin, Heather and I passed out sweatshirts to all the classes and then eventually went to class. All in all it was a lot of fun. Senior year is finally starting to be fun, although still stressful, senior year is definitely doing to be an unforgettable year.

Time of our Lives

Senior Year is called the time of your life.

Everything is supposed to happen senior year. Everyone makes it out to be so much fun with senior fundraisers, senior trip, and senior lunches. But they always forget to mention the stress that comes with being a senior. The responsibilities that come with being a senior are endless. Between keeping up with all the senior meetings and fundraisers. Although a lot of it can be stressful, it is also a lot of fun. The memories that will be created during senior year will be unforgettable. But i think every senior will tell you the same thing...I cannot wait to graduate!
